OVERVIEW OF GPBANK

• On January 17, 2025, GPBank was converted into a single-member limited liability Commercial Bank with 100% capital owned by VPBank. From October 8, 2025, GPBank officially launches a new brand identity, marking a comprehensive transformation with the new name Generation of Prosperity Bank - symbolizing the journey towards an era of prosperity and sustainable development.
• At the same time, GPBank is the pioneer bank in Vietnam to implement a completely new Core Banking system, built on China’s modern OneConnect Core platform. This strategic move reflects the bank’s ambition to become a technology-driven digital banking leader, not only rebuilding its entire system from scratch but also laying the foundation to replicate and transfer this model to other member units within the VPBank ecosystem.

Department / Division: IT Core Banking Solution - Information Technology Division

Reports To: Department Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and manage product backlog for core banking modules.
• Prioritize backlog based on business value, risk, and system dependencies.
• Work closely with Developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Participate in Agile events (Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective, etc.).
• Support development team in clarifying business logic and addressing issues.
• Communicate effectively with business units, testing teams, operations, and implementation partners.
• Monitor implementation process and evaluate post-release effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study: or equivalent education, training & experience
• At least 2 years of experience in core banking/card systems/lending systems or credit-related product management.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the three domains: Core Cards - Deep understanding of card lifecycle, EMV, ISO 8583 messaging, switch systems (e.g., SmartVista, Way4), and scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Capable of translating business requirements into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documents.
• Strong coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams (business, technology, QA, DevOps).
• Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Visio, or equivalent for documentation and collaboration.
• Certifications such as PSPO I/II, CBAP, SAFe POPM, or PMI-ACP are advantageous.
• Familiarity with systems like T24, Finacle, Mambu, or other lending platforms.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

• Working Hours: Standard working hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time: 8:00 / 8:30 / 9:00) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00–12:00) (may remote).
