Reports To: Department Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer is responsible for building, standardizing, and delivering data to support analytics, enabling data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Business Analysts (BA) to understand requirements, collect, analyze, and propose data solutions.
• Build, manage, and visualize data on platforms such as Power BI and Apache Superset to support analysis, process optimization, and business improvements.
• Design and develop data models, and build & maintain datasets.
• Optimize SQL queries, reports, and reporting workflows; collaborate with Data Engineers to manage pipelines and implement updates.
• Provide training and guidance to relevant departments on using datasets and reports for data analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Analytics Engineering.
• Strong experience in data modeling and understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) design methodologies (Kimball vs. Inmon).
• Hands-on experience in building Data Warehouse and Data Mart; solid understanding of OLAP vs. OLTP; experience with DIM/FACT tables, SCD types, and schema designs (Star, Snowflake, Galaxy).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI (Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, SSRS), Apache Superset, Tableau, etc.; proficiency in DAX, building measures, and strong data visualization skills.
• Proficient in SQL; working knowledge of R/Python (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib) for data analysis (data profiling, etc.) and automation.
• Experience with Data Pipeline/ETL and DBT; familiarity with high-performance data formats in Lakehouse architectures (e.g., Iceberg, Delta, Hudi).
• Experience with technologies/services such as Athena, Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse is a plus.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

• Working Hours: Standard working hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time: 8:00 / 8:30 / 9:00) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00–12:00) (may remote).
• Work Locations: 45 Nguyen Van Huyen, Cau Giay, Ha Noi (New GPBank Technology Headquarters)
