Reports To: Department Manager

🌱 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze reporting requirements from business units such as Sales, Operations, Risk Management, Finance, etc.

- Design and develop management reports (MIS), analytical dashboards, and KPI monitoring tools using BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, etc.).

- Act as the focal point for developing analytical data models (star schema, OLAP cubes, data marts, etc.).

- Optimize query performance and ensure reports are presented in a clear, user-friendly, and standardized format.

- Operate daily/periodic reporting systems: perform data checks, handle errors, and ensure SLA compliance.

- Collaborate with data, ETL, and business teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.

- Manage report access control, data security, and user access logs.

 

🌱JOB REQUIREMENTS

I. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.

- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in report development, Business Intelligence (BI), or analytics, or in a similar role.

- Proficient in at least one ETL tool (e.g., Microsoft SSIS, Talend, Informatica) or modern data pipeline platform, or experienced in developing custom ETL solutions.

- Skilled in at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SSRS, or Metabase.

- Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience in major databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.

- Solid understanding of analytical data modeling, Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts, and ETL pipelines.

- Preferred: Experience in developing financial reports, operational KPIs, or management dashboards in the banking domain.

II. Skill

- Strong teamwork and cross-functional communication skills.

- Detail-oriented, logical thinking, and a strong internal customer service mindset.

- Good command of reading and understanding technical documentation in English.

III. Relevant Experience

- Experience in the banking and finance sector.

- Experience working with DAX, MDX, or Python/R for data analysis.

IV. Required Competencies

- Strong analytical and data visualization thinking.

- Understanding of information system architecture.

- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and banking business processes.

I. Working Hours

Standard working hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time: 8:00 / 8:30 / 9:00) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00–12:00).

- Location 04: 705 Lac Long Quan, Tay Ho, Ha Noi (Former GPBank Technology Headquarters)
