- On January 17, 2025, GPBank was converted into a single-member limited liability Commercial Bank with 100% capital owned by VPBank. From October 8, 2025, GPBank officially launches a new brand identity, marking a comprehensive transformation with the new name Generation of Prosperity Bank - symbolizing the journey towards an era of prosperity and sustainable development.

- At the same time, GPBank is the pioneer bank in Vietnam to implement a completely new Core Banking system, built on China’s modern OneConnect Core platform. This strategic move reflects the bank’s ambition to become a technology-driven digital banking leader, not only rebuilding its entire system from scratch but also laying the foundation to replicate and transfer this model to other member units within the VPBank ecosystem.

🌱JOB REQUIREMENTS

I.  Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study: or equivalent education, training & experience

• Preferred certifications:

  • PSM I/II (Professional Scrum Master – Scrum.org)

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master – ScrumAlliance)

  • PSPO I (Product Owner)

II. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise

• Over 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with hands-on involvement in infrastructure delivery projects.

• Ability to manage 1–3 projects simultaneously through structured processes and clear workflows.

• Capable of overseeing project accounting and related documentation, including status reports, project plans, etc.

• Ability to deliver projects with critical business milestones while supporting/leading Agile-based delivery processes.

• Familiar with Agile delivery methodologies; holding Agile Certified Practitioner/Scrum Master certificates or PMP is a plus.

• Proficient in using project management tools.

• Strong technical background with knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft, VMware, Cloud – AWS, MS Azure, or Google GCP.

III. Skill

• Ability to demonstrate independent leadership, sound judgment, and decision-making.

• Flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities while remaining open and resilient.

• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at peer level.

• Excellent analytical and technical skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong planning and organizational skills.

• Ability to initiate and drive cloud transformation projects, including stakeholder relationship development.

• Skills in facilitating project initiation processes, organizing workshops, and delivering presentations.

• Ability to support the development of business cases and engage executive sponsors.

• Experience in managing senior customer relationships up to C-level executives within large organizations.

• Familiarity with methodologies and frameworks including PMP, Agile, Scrum, or internal delivery processes.

• Competence in change management and risk management.

• Strong understanding of project controls, processes, governance, and project management.

• Knowledge of transition management, user acceptance, and customer success is a plus for certain projects.

• Professional working style with maturity and excellent client-facing communication skills.

III. Relevant Experience

• Understanding and practical knowledge of broad cloud technology adoption and implementation (Microsoft, AWS, Public Cloud, etc.) and related technologies.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects on time and within budget.

• Experience in executing projects transitioning from on-premise to cloud environments.

• Strong organizational awareness with the ability to navigate internal political dynamics.

• Persuasive skills to guide, support, and influence stakeholders and colleagues during decision-making processes.

• Trusted and respected as a thought leader capable of influencing business leaders, IT leaders, and development teams.

• Driven and motivated by achieving long-term business outcomes.

• Ability to work effectively in team environments and lead cross-functional teams.

🌱 WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

I. Working Hours

Standard working hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time: 8:00 / 8:30 / 9:00) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00–12:00).
