OVERVIEW OF GPBANK

• On January 17, 2025, GPBank was converted into a single-member limited liability Commercial Bank with 100% capital owned by VPBank. From October 8, 2025, GPBank officially launches a new brand identity, marking a comprehensive transformation with the new name Generation of Prosperity Bank - symbolizing the journey towards an era of prosperity and sustainable development.
• At the same time, GPBank is the pioneer bank in Vietnam to implement a completely new Core Banking system, built on China’s modern OneConnect Core platform. This strategic move reflects the bank’s ambition to become a technology-driven digital banking leader, not only rebuilding its entire system from scratch but also laying the foundation to replicate and transfer this model to other member units within the VPBank ecosystem.

Department / Division: IT Core Banking Solution - Information Technology Division

Reports To: Department Manager

🌱 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Study the requirement for banking service
• Design test scenarios for banking service
• Execute testing for banking service
• Support SIT and UAT testing
• Support verify issue/problem fix
• Review and accept testing related deliverables from vendor
• Training for other members

🌱JOB REQUIREMENTS

I.  Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study: or equivalent education, training & experience

II. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise

• More than 3 years’ experience in testing
• Having experience in testcase review, building test plan
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the three domains: Core Banking, Cards, Lending
  + Core Banking: Expertise in modules such as CIF, accounts, deposits, GL, and financial transaction processing. Familiarity with core systems like T24, Finacle, or Flexcube is a plus.
  + Card Management: Deep understanding of card lifecycle, EMV, ISO 8583 messaging, switch systems (e.g., SmartVista, Way4), and scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard).
  + Lending Platform:  Deep understanding of loan lifecycle, disbursement, repayment, delinquency, restructuring processes, and collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Strong coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams (business, technology, PO/BA, DevOps).
• Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Visio, or equivalent for documentation and collaboration.
• Experience in testing microservices, API-based integration, and workflow engines.

• Ability in English reading and writing (mandatory), and speaking, listening (preferable).

I. Working Hours

Standard working hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time: 8:00 / 8:30 / 9:00) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00–12:00).
