⭐ OVERVIEW OF GPBANK

- On January 17, 2025, GPBank was converted into a single-member limited liability Commercial Bank with 100% capital owned by VPBank. From October 8, 2025, GPBank officially launches a new brand identity, marking a comprehensive transformation with the new name Generation of Prosperity Bank - symbolizing the journey towards an era of prosperity and sustainable development.

- At the same time, GPBank is the pioneer bank in Vietnam to implement a completely new Core Banking system, built on China’s modern OneConnect Core platform. This strategic move reflects the bank’s ambition to become a technology-driven digital banking leader, not only rebuilding its entire system from scratch but also laying the foundation to replicate and transfer this model to other member units within the VPBank ecosystem.

Department / Division: Data Solutions and Analytics Department - Information Technology Division

Reports To: Department Manager

🌱 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Receive, analyze, assess, and coordinate the handling of IT service requests related to data (ETL, DWH, BI, reporting, integration, etc.).

- Collaborate with technical teams (development, operations, data architecture, data governance, etc.) to implement data solutions and services based on user requirements.

- Manage the data service portfolio, including support for reporting, dashboards, queries, and data sharing for business units.

- Monitor SLAs and service quality, and coordinate the resolution of incidents and issues.

- Participate in the end-to-end request lifecycle management — from intake, analysis, prioritization, implementation, testing, to acceptance.

- Work with IT Service Management (ITSM) systems such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or equivalent platforms.

- Ensure all services comply with information security policies, access controls, and data governance standards.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and reduce turnaround time for recurring requests.

🌱JOB REQUIREMENTS

I. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.

- 2–3 years of experience in roles such as IT Service Delivery, Data Support, Data/BI Analyst, or equivalent

- Basic understanding of components within the data ecosystem: DWH, BI, ETL, Data Governance, Big Data, and Data Lake.

- Preferred candidates have experience working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) or database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

- Ability to understand business requirements, assess technical feasibility, and collaborate effectively with development and implementation teams

- Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to user support.

- Flexible problem-solving and incident-handling skills.

- Effective time management and prioritization abilities.

- Banking and financial services.

- Core banking systems.

IV. Required Competencies

- Understanding of IT service request management, IT operations, and SLA governance processes.

- Experience in supporting data-related services within the banking, finance, or insurance environment.

🌱 WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

I. Working Hours

Standard working hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time: 8:00 / 8:30 / 9:00) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00–12:00).

II. Work Locations

- Location 01: 89 Lang Ha, Dong Da, Hanoi (VPBank Headquarters)

- Location 02: 19 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi (GPBank Headquarters)

- Location 03: 45 Nguyen Van Huyen, Cau Giay, Ha Noi (New GPBank Technology Headquarters)(Placement based on candidate’s preference and project requirements)
